Anti-Spam Policy

We take email compliance seriously. Learn how Mailoodeer helps you send legal, respectful, and effective emails worldwide.

I. What am I responsible for?

As a Mailoodeer user, you are responsible for ensuring your email marketing practices follow:

  • Mailoodeer's anti-spam requirements and Terms of Use.
  • Applicable laws in your business location.
  • Applicable laws where your recipients are located.

This policy is not legal advice. We recommend consulting a legal expert to understand the laws applicable to your organization and your audience.

II. Mailoodeer Requirements

Mailoodeer is headquartered in the United States and complies with the CAN-SPAM Act. To help maintain a healthy email ecosystem, we go beyond minimum legal requirements. Users must:

  • Agree to our Terms of Use.
  • Provide clear origin of contact lists (e.g., opt-in forms, imports).
  • Include a working unsubscribe link in every campaign.
  • Include valid contact info, such as a business address or PO Box.
  • Avoid misleading headers, reply names, or subject lines.
  • Comply with additional rules for integrations (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
  • Respect all suppression rules and unsubscribed contacts.

Even if you are based outside the U.S., you must ensure your emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act while using Mailoodeer.

III. International Requirements

Depending on where you or your contacts are located, additional email and data laws may apply. For example:

  • GDPR – European Union
  • CASL – Canada
  • Privacy Act – Australia
  • UK Data Protection Act – United Kingdom

Mailoodeer provides tools (e.g., double opt-in, unsubscribe automation, consent logging) to help support international compliance, but the responsibility remains with the sender.

Always verify the regulations that apply to your country or the regions of your audience.
